Networking Galore at the ITT into ECT Recruitment Fairs

We've had a busy six weeks of events, working with ITT providers to introduce schools to ECTs who will be gaining QTS and looking for their first ECT role.  It was wonderful to see over 130 trainees and 60 schools/organisations networking together across the three events at Royal Latin School in Buckingham, Chepping View Primary Academy in High Wycombe and Kings Church in Amersham.  

Trainees from SCITT providers across the region mingled with representatives from primary, secondary and all through schools coming from mainstream, special, selective and non-selective settings to make contacts and enquire about employment when they finish their training year and become ECTs. 

Feedback from all three events was excellent and we are pleased to report that trainees have been receiving invitations to interview and have been invited to visit schools for potential future positions.
